Why Should You Listen the ATC Broadcasts

First, following real air traffic communications may be enjoyable for aviation enthusiasts and aviators.

In addition, listening to ATC communications may be helpful for student pilots and other aviation related students, because they can experience how aviation phraseology is applied in real life. Also ATIS broadcasts are helpful for studying for PPL/ATPL examinations.

For the rest, if you are a passenger in a flight, you can learn which taxiways and runways will in use during a flight.

Apart from examples like this, listening to these broadcasts can serve many useful purposes.

Main Features of the Ibosoft ATC System

• ► Various real air traffic communications in real-time. (Currently 57 channels are available.)
• ► Low latency, average delay of the broadcasts is approximately 5±1 seconds.
• ► Downloadable recordings of voice broadcasts.
• ► Track the aircraft in real time at the some location utilizing ADS-B, 1090 MHz MLAT, ACARS reports (ADS-C, WPR etc.).
• ► Advanced Mode S ELS / EHS / ADS-B data such as selected ALT, selected HDG, ACAS replies etc. of the tracked aircraft.
• ► Aircraft tracking history.
• ► Live and historical data link messages including ACARS applications such as ATS (D-ATIS, DCL/PDC etc.), FANS 1/A (ADS-C, CPDLC), Service Related (Printer, OOOI etc.), Aircrew/Airline Defined, System Control.
